History

SolutionPlanet was founded in December 1998 by Mats Ingelborn. He had previously worked with Lotus Notes for several years, was a certified Principal CLP on both Development and Administration and was a member of the Lotus Premium Partner Executive Council in EMEA representing Sweden/Scandinavia.
SolutionPlanet’s main goal has always been to develop and market solutions and services based on IBM’s Lotus Notes/Dominon application platform.
In Berlin, Germany at Lotusphere Europe 2000 the first mobile solution was presented, the WAP interface for planet.CIM which gave the users mobile access to their contacts. Two years after we were nominated finalist for best mobile solution at Lotusphere 2002. This was a custom mobile solution developed for the global security company Securitas.
The development then turned to a total focus of mobile and wireless solutions since 2007 in the company Primobi Ltd.
Traditional consulting as well as development of web solutions has also been a driving force behind SolutionPlanet’s success in the turbulent IT-industry. In 2007 we launched the news service Yabot, now company of its own.
